We installed compact radiators into 22 houses. The main reasons they used us was price, which is key for low cost housing in the area, but our radiator performance was also greater than our competitors, bearing in mind the extreme temperatures in Pitlochry in the winter months.
The low water content was also a factor in providing an energy saving product as our radiators have a 25mm water channel pitch with reduced depth which means it uses up to 31% less water on average than similar products, so less energy is needed to heat them up. The finished product was also aesthetically pleasing to the contractor which meant that although price was a consideration, quality was not compromised.
This was a joint project with Perth and Kinross council.
