Contemporary Barlo designer radiators transform Old Vinyl Factory apartments

Old Vinyl Factory Gatefold Apartments

The QRL Radiator Group was specified for a regeneration project of 132 apartments at The Old Vinyl site, Hayes, West London in 2014, due for completion at the end of 2016. Over 700 Hi-Lo Compla radiators were supplied for the new Gatefold building apartments thanks to their high outputs and the aesthetics of the radiator whose sleek, modern look complements the stylish apartments.

The apartment blocks are situated in a high-end residential area in West London and are part of the redevelopment of the Old Vinyl Factory site. Building contractor, Willmott Dixon, completed a deal to build the homes for private rent which consisted of the Gatefold Buildings, along with workshops, café’s and a community space with a further 500 homes proposed at this 17-acre site.

Working alongside Willmott Dixon were mechanical and electrical contractors Mimram who approached Barlo regarding the Compla range due, to not only its smooth exterior, but its high performance, making it the perfect solution for the contemporary apartments.

Area Sales Manager, Craig Sansom provided the terms and quotes for the Hi-Lo Compla range and working with merchant partner, City Plumbing, delivered over 700 radiators for the project.

Craig Sansom says: “This was a great project for Barlo to be a part of. It was an absolute pleasure to work with Willmott Dixon and Mimram and for our Compla radiators to be used in the apartments.”
